Our network systems and embedded intelligence

Connectivity networks

Internally, several of our experts work closely with operators and connectivity providers.

Their primary mission is to ensure the optimal performance of our products and networks in different countries.

Indeed, before making any purchasing decisions regarding the connectivity of a fleet of connected objects, it is crucial to define in advance the usage profile and the most suitable communication network for the need.

We regularly work with traditional cellular networks 2G/3G/4G, 5G IoT cellular networks (LTE-M1, NB-IoT), LPWAN networks (LoRa, Sigfox), and emerging satellite IoT networks

Nos systèmes réseaux et intelligence embarquée - Ercogener

We have a global library that enables us to :

Manage the global roaming of LPWAN objects and switch between private and public networks (interoperability).

Enhance service quality (QoS) while benefiting from cutting-edge cybersecurity.

Improve battery consumption

Reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

Ercogener has also patented a multi-connectivity solution that combines cellular networks and LPWAN networks, while reducing energy consumption.

Smart systems and modems

Our product range offers simple communication interfaces as well as systems with hardware and software resources that enable data processing and calculations tailored to various needs:

  • Data encryption.
  • Digital filtering.
  • Combination of results for local decision-making.
  • Mathematical transformation of measured values.
  • Interconnectivity between different protocols…

The integration of intelligence into our products covers all our solutions, from simple sensors to gateways that allow the integration of comprehensive Decision Support Tools, including multi-connectivity trackers.

The integration of intelligence in our products encompasses all our solutions, ranging from simple sensors to gateways that support the integration of comprehensive Decision Support Tools, as well as multi-connectivity trackers.

We have launched a collaborative research project, ORTIKAT, in partnership with ESEO in Angers (a leading engineering school specializing in smart objects and systems) and HKTC Technologies (a joint venture between Hydrokit and Carré). The primary goal of this project is to design and develop an ‘agricultural box’: an innovative technological ecosystem for AI applications in agriculture, closely integrated with the field.

To validate the concept, the project aims to implement this ecosystem in a real-world application: significantly modifying and improving the ANATIS weeding robot by adding intelligence related to embedded or external sensors, evolving it into a multi-purpose robot.
